These no bake Homemade Sugar Free Reeses are the perfect little treat when youre craving something sweet. After dinner, I usually need a sweet treat before bed so I grab one of these out of my fridge. Theyre also great for parties or if one of my girls need a treat for school. The great part is, you can buy different molds and make them into whatever you want. During Easter, I made little bunnies but for this Fall and spooky season I decided to make pumpkins and brains.

As a lot of you may know by now, I love homemade things. From sauces, spices, literally everything. If I can make it at home, Ill do it. Making these at home make them much better quality. First, you can create a sugar free version as we did. Second, it tastes so much better. You are using yummy Lilys chocolate chips and creamy high quality peanut butter.
If you wanted to, you can even make them vegan or dairy free.
What peanut butter and chocolate should I use?
Personally, I like Jifs no sugar added creamy and smooth peanut butter. As for chocolate, I prefer Lilys chocolate to any other sugar free chocolate. Its less calories, sugar free and tastes exactly like regular chocolate. Its seriously the best.

You are looking for one that is creamy and not chunky, made from just peanuts with some added salt, and usually has a layer of oil on the top which will require you to mix it thoroughly with the peanut butter on the bottom.
I think of it as an old-fashioned way to make peanut butter and tastes really great like you are eating fresh peanuts.
We buy 2 brands of peanut butter that we love working with and eating:
- Stop and Shop has their brand which is natures promise that is very good and has the oil floating on the top and requires mixing it up well.
- Costco has their Kirkland brand of sugar-free peanut butter that is delicious and does not need pre-mixing.
In order to mix the peanut butter properly, make sure it is at room texture. If it is cold it will take you forever to blend it properly, if at all possible.
The best tip that we can share with you is to empty the peanut butter jar into a bowl, which makes it easier to blend properly, and then measure out your needed portion and return any excess into its jar and store it in the refrigerator to retain freshness.
