Burnetts Mango Pineapple Vodka was introduced April 2014 along with a Ruby Red Grapefruit, and Red Berry flavor. This was the second Mango Pineapple flavored vodka introduced in 2014. Svedka Mango Pineapple was the first. It is one of 36 flavored vodkas produced in Bardstown Kentucky by Heaven Hill under the Burnetts label. Like the other Burnett vodka flavors it is made with 100% grain that is quadruple distilled and triple charcoal filtered. Natural flavors are then added before bottling at 70 proof.The pineapple lead aroma has a mango backing. The sweet juicy mango entry is joined by fresh pineapple taste. It fades with a mild sting and the warm finish is semi dry with mango and just a hint of vodka taste. This is a very flavorful natural tasting vodka that tastes a little sugar enhanced, but it is not over sweet. While I have not had all 36 Burnetts vodka flavors, Mango Pineapple is the best Ive tasted so far.

For simple syrup:
- ¾ C. Sugar
- ¾ C. Water
Note: While you can certainly use a commercially prepared simple syrup in this recipe, its so easy to make, why not make some fresh. And make some extra in case you want to make these again.
For the slush:
- 1 ¼ C. fresh chopped Pineapple
- 1 C. fresh chopped Mango
- 3-4 oz Vodka we used Svedka vodka, but you may use your favorite
- 1 C. Ice

âThe nice thing about the new Botanical vodka is that even though it is flavored, there is no added sugar, and because it has some flavor already, it may dissuade people from making a mixed drink which is where the extra calories come in,â Abbey Sharp, a Toronto-based RD and author of âAbbeyâs Kitchen,â told TODAY Food.

Despite its relatively low calorie count, this flavor tastes the most like soda of any of the Svedka canned cocktails. The lemonade taste obscures the alcohol flavor entirely, leaving your palate free to enjoy the crisp taste of citrus and berry. The fruit flavors never become too sweet since they’re balanced by acidity from the lemon.
The strength of this flavor makes you wonder why White Claw hasn’t introduced a strawberry lemonade variety. Sparkling lemonade is delicious, and the alcoholic version barely tastes like it has booze in it, so it seems like every seltzer company should have a lemonade drink in their portfolio.
